Frequent this place quite a bit as it's close to work. Best thing on the menu is the deep fried pickles! They used to have a phenomenal burger called the firecracker but it is no longer in the menu and I wish they'd bring it back! Sometimes when there are people waiting for drinks at the bar no one steps in to help out unless they are supposed to be working behind the bar it seems.

We visited Regatta 220 during green Bay Restaurant week 2014. It was a beautiful summer evening and we thought we would enjoy the patio. The entertainment was good (not too loud, just one man singing familiar tunes) and the view is nice overlooking the marina. We had a couple of drinks at the bar before dinner. I had a seltzer and when I ordered a vodka seltzer the manager told me he would get me one when I finished with the one I had in front of me. I told him it was just seltzer and he didn't believe me. He said they do not like people to have more than one drink in front of them. I was very upset. My husband chugged down his beer so he could get another beer we could take to the table. We went to a table (it was seat yourself) and we waited and waited for service. During the course of the dinner we had to hunt down a server to help us 4 times. One time is was for cutlery after he brought our food. The meal was not good. I think they prepared everything on the Restaurant Week menu, beforehand so the chicken breast was very dry and the gnocchi was dense and doughy. The only reason I gave it a 2 star was for the atmosphere. We probably will never go back.

Had an awesome time tonight. A friend recommended for our Christmas gathering. Loved the wine selection, we shared the bruschetta, fried pickles and tuna appetizers and I couldn't pick my favorite. Went with the blackened chicken pasta for dinner and it was the perfect combo of creamy and spicy. Finished with the s'more bar and I could have ordered 2! Yum! Definitely coming back!

An interesting note as I write this review: Although the restaurant is rated 3 stars, there are no 3 star reviews. The conclusion I can definitely draw from that set of data is that people seem to either love or hate this place. This could be due to: a) Everyone's taste buds being different b) Inconsistent food being produced by the restaurant I'm leaning towards choice "b." A list of the things I've tried: Bruschetta - overall solid, the balsamic vinegar is spread so unevenly that some parts are way too sour while other areas need a little more tanginess. Thai Chili Calamari - Not very spicy and extremely salty, but I did like it Crab cakes - the first time, too salty, and the potatoes that accompanied it were as well - the second time, under-seasoned and incredibly bland Grilled Salmon - Salmon was WAY overcooked and way too dry, not enough seasoning Cheese Tortellini - I guess you get what you order, just don't expect to taste anything but cheese As you can see, none of the dishes left a very positive imprint on my mind. There has to be two chefs in the back who are arguing about how much salt a dish needs because none of the food that came out was seasoned the right amount, even the ones I kind of enjoyed. And knowing that you're going to be spending 20+ here? It doesn't help to lessen the blow of the sub-par food. So why does it get two stars? I had to give it a full star just for their white-chicken chili. I'm a sucker for WCC and theirs is exceptional. But is it worth coming here for just the chili? That's for you to decide, but I'd have to strongly disagree.

I am going to upgrade my review Not because the food is so good, which it is just ok Not because half night wine Tuesday is so good, which it is good But because the server we had was so cool. Her name was Jaci. Looks like Jaycee but she pronounces it Jackie She was a pistol delight of fun. Good luck at school Jaci!!!!!

They burnt our fries, all our chickens were burnt, but the waitresses were so kind that it broke my heart saying that the food was ridiculous. Overall it's a fine joint in a prime spot by the river. But there's plenty room to grow.

The Police had an album from 1979 called "Reggatta de Blanc" I ate at a restaurant in 2011 that should be called "Regatta de Blech" I wanted to like this place because the people who work there are so nice, but the main point in going to a restaurant is to eat, and this place misses the point! First the highlight (singular): Our waitress Chrissy was awesome. Smart, funny, helpful...she could work anywhere and make a fortune on tips, I bet. Memo to her: find a job at a place with better food and the sky's the limit for you. The food went from okay to barely edible: The stone fire nachos we started with were actually pretty good. Nice and spicy with the thin chips that I like. It went downhill from there. Dad got barbecue pork chop which was incredible tough (he had to saw through it) and looked like someone just dumped some Heinz bbq sauce on it. Step-mom got the rib-eye special. Meat was bland and flavorless but the risotto wasn't bad. B/f had a burger which again, was flavorless. I got the shrimp and veggie pasta. You'd think with roasted red peppers and onions in it, it would be robust, but it wasn't. Sampling by others at the table confirmed my impression. It was bland. The shrimps tasted frozen and watery. The pasta was overcooked and also tasted watery. Even the peppers and onions tasted watery. After the spicy nachos, I was hoping for a spicy entree too but I could not get over how bland it was. Not even salt and pepper could juice it up. Maybe they read Kate Z's review and went in the opposite direction and decided not to add spice to any entree. I don't know but we all agreed that, excellent service notwithstanding, we would not go back to Regatta to eat. Sorry about that, nice people of Regatta, but your food just does not cut it.

I went here with a few friends on the recommendation from a friend. We will never go back. When we ordered drinks, the waitress had to come back to our table 4 times because they did not have the ingredients at the bar for the drinks we ordered from the menu they had ON the table. We weren't ordering anything exotic either! Why would you have the drinks listed ON YOUR MENU if you don't carry the proper ingredients to make them? We ordered a bruchetta appetizer which was ok. Our waitress left all of our empty glasses from our drinks on our table when she brought new ones and when we were done with our appetizer and she brought our meal, she neglected to clear off our table from our previously eaten plates. We had to stack them up on our table and eat around them. There's no excuse for that. Two of us ordered a chicken pizza that had no flavor at all (seriously, if I was blindfolded, I wouldn't have been able to tell you what I was eating, it was that tasteless). Another friend had the salmon, which she said was ok. I wrote a letter to Regatta 220 explaining our lack of service that night, but of course, I never got a response back. I'm not suprised because it really didn't seem like anyone there cared about the customers or how people felt about their food/visit. We were very disappointed.

I went here on 2/16/13 with my husband as we were staying at Aloft Hotel and this is the closest restaurant (walking distance). This is probably my 4th time here and every experience is the same- disappointing. The food is mediocre. We had the chicken gnocchi and a thin crust margarita pizza. if you are going to order something they do have decent white chicken chili and the spinach and artichoke dip is good at best. The dessert with berries and chocolate was terrible. This place has potential to be really successful because of location and the interior is classy/upscale but they need to get a new chef and tighten up the menu. There really wasn't much business going on for 5pm on a Saturday night. We had a nice waitress but waited far too long to get our appetizer. I will not be going back until an overhaul of some sort happens.

Delicious food. Loved the jalapeño bites as an appetizer and patio drinks. I enjoyed crab cakes and husband said ribeye was very good. No inside tables available at 6:45 on a Saturday so we opted for outside patio dining (rather than the bar area.) Glad we did...nice view, live music and lovely atmosphere.

Really disappointing! The service was good and attentive, but the food was terrible. This was a business dinner with 4 others from out of town and we all were disappointed. I had the pork tenderloin and it was dry as can be. I had to smother it in bbq sauce to get it down. Just blah, bland, dry food all around. This place needs a chef with taste.

Wow, just had one "do not repeat" dining experiences here. It was a reunion of 4 friends that hadn't seen each other in a while. I was really excited to be going to Regatta 220. The excitement ended when the food arrived. The one star was for the waitress who was friendly and efficient. Unfortunately, 3 out of 4 of us had the Lime Shrimp with gnocchi. The gnocchi was pasty and overcooked, The shrimp was small and tasteless, Think frozen bag of shrimp. Presentation, lackluster. The chef or manager (not sure who he was) was alerted that we were not thrilled with our choice. He asked if we wanted something different and one opted or a chicken dish. The other 2 of us had lost our appetite and declined. We had eaten a small salad and bread as well as a glass of wine. No real apology for the poor quality food and no deduction taken from the check either. Paid full price for a lousy meal that I had been looking forward to for a month. The location is beautiful but it takes more than that to keep a restaurant open

Recently opened; was formerly Fratello's. We dined on a Tuesday night; the bar was about 1/3 full when we arrived at about 5:30 and a few diners were already at tables. Good, warm atmosphere. I will add that with wind chill the temps were far below zero, so it really was not a night fit for man nor beast. The server was prompt and courteous; drink orders were taken and the special communicated to us. Warm, fresh bread was delivered ahead of our meal and the mains followed in a timely fashion. Both of our dinners (chicken and steak) were good portions and very tasty. Prices are slightly on the high side (our check was $54 with two mains and two soft drinks) which will make this a 'special' place to dine for us however we will return and recommend this restaurant. A bonus (not for this cold night!) is that this restaurant is located on the Fox River and has outside dining in warm weather.

Regatta 220 has a nice bar, open seating areas that are still private, and a great outdoor patio area that lives up to its name. Unfortunately the food does not match. The first time I was there was with a large group. The specialty drinks were fun (nothing spectacular) and the wine list is nice, although our waitress was of no help making a decision. The food was really lackluster. I ordered the Shrimp Scampi which was pretty horrible. The most recent time I was there I went to meet a group and ended up doing drinks and small plates. It was a cold winter night and I enjoyed the hot alcoholic drinks which were strong. I stuck to appetizers and small dishes and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. Nothing was phenomenal, but it didn't make me regret ordering food either. Perhaps the next time I go I'll be even more impressed. It's a great place to go for drinks and a late dinner on the water...the food just needs to step it up!

We went here last Saturday ( 10/15/11) because we needed a place that was close to DePere, where we were staying and that would take reservations because it was also Sweetest Day. There was plenty on parking and there was a lot of space in the restaurant. There were a few parties going on near us, but it never became too loud. The food on the other hand was not good. It was all very salty!! We had spicy shrimp( like bang bang shrimp) and the coating tasted like pure salt. The Cream of chicken wild rice soup was thick tasted like paste and salt. I had crab cakes as an entree and there were 3 large SALTY crab cakes on the plate. I prefer lumb crab in crab cakes and these were all shredded crab( the cheaper kind) . I would rather have 1 good crab cake than 3 made with the cheap crab. My friends had pasta that was salty and one person had the porterhouse special that was average. This restaurant advertises they use the freshest food possible, but it did not seem that way. Everything tasted salty and processed.
